Adam Sutton is first and foremost a dedicated horseman. Introduced to horses at age 3, his journey has taken him through pony club, camp drafting across Australia, the rodeo circuit, and international study under renowned trainers.
His effective and easy to understand methods have earnt him the reputation of a well respected clinician and practitioner Nationwide. Adam's approach emphasises trust, respect and confidence, with individualised techniques based on each horse's needs.
In 2010, Adam became Champion of the prestigious Equitana 'The Way Of The Horse' competition. He trained Heath Ledger for Ned Kelly and Brokeback Mountain, and his life story was featured on Australian Story.
In 2018, Adam formed Allround Horsemanship with Mel Reid, creating mobile training programs offering camps, clinics, and personalised instruction across Australia.

We breed Waler horses and over the years I have sent about 9 or 10 horses to him for work on various things from foal handling, starting and further education.
Adam listens to the horse and understands their needs, he doesn't make a horse follow a strict regime, every one is different, tailored to the horse, uniquely Adam's way.
He has a good knowledge of rein and leg and from talking with his clients does a good job starting young horses under saddle.
